How I got involved with horses.
To ride on a horse is to fly without wings

My name is Tabitha and I got into horses through my mom. At the age of two, I started riding and showing. I began taking lessons at age 5 with a trainer. This was helpful for riding different horses and allowing me to learn different horses and be able to handle various types of riding techniques.
Owning horses has taught me so much over the years. As fun as they are, they teach you discipline and responsibility. Horses are a living creature and must be cared for continuously. From cleaning stalls to waking up early to feed them, I have spent many days making time for my horses. They require care through everything and teach you a lot about managing your time to be included all activities.
I started showing which includes a lot of work, from training with your horse and maintaining cleanliness. I chose from a variety of classes that best fit my riding style and competed for ribbons. I have won over a hundred classes over the years and I am beyond grateful for my experiences.
