Naturally in the wild horse would not eat most of the things we feeding them but because of the activities we do with them it help to give them extra vitamins when we can. We can do this through grains, talk to a vet about the extra supplement your horse may need.
Horses can also be given treats, such as carrots, apples, mints and other processed treats from a feed store. Along with these horses will eat hay and grass throughout the day.
